in case anyone is interested. I ran an strace on it. It seg faulted. Per
support for some reason the process didn't get cleaned up and was basically
stuck in a seg fault. So I just killed. There was another tell there
processes were not using any memory (top had them at 0.0%). I dont believe
you can be connected to oracle and not use any memory.

i didnt have ASH/AWR on this DB so I couldnt check history. So I was
concerned I missed something. Its not real often you have a run away oracle
process that isn't actually connected to the DB.
