Brian,

  The tnsnames entry should have port 1521 since you are pointing to a
server "that uses 1521".  I believe you are updating the tnsnames file on
the server with two listeners.  These listeners only come into play if you
are trying to reference databases on that same server.  If you are pointing
to the database on another server, you need to worry about which ports
*that* server is using.
