No license is required to use SecureFiles, other than the database license. Licensing details are in the Licensing Information book <http://docs.oracle.com/database/121/DBLIC/toc.htm>. -KJ

Hello everyone,

I wanted to see if using JUST securefiles for LOBS requires an additional
license or not? I don't plan on using compression, deduplication or encryption
(which all require a license). I'm looking everywhere and there isn't much
that is clear on this topic. I've contacted my oracle rep, but he is on
vacation and MOS is taking their time as usual.

Thanks in advance!
