rman backup failing after resetlogs - now have incarnations

Other day, did a restore and a resetlogs.  Backups then started failing stating 
delete of expired, etc. was from before the resetlogs.
 
I unregistered and registered the database and now ok.  However, I am now 
showing several incarnations of the database.  Is this ok, do I need to clean 
them up or what?
