rename databases with primary/standby

So I've got a primary database with a single physical standby all in
11gr1, 11.1.0.7.
I need to rename the primary and standby to new names, can i do that w/o
having to rebuild the standby, off the top of my head, i'm thinking i have
to rebuild the standby, just wondering if anyone has done this.
