I should perhaps have suggested that I work for an Auditing
organisation, and indeed in a former life was an auditor.
Back then of course the auditor's line was - senior management can
almost always pull the wool over our eyes, don't rely on us to detect
fraud. This had merit and wasn't just buck passing.
