I imagine there might be cases where the rowsource stats gathered impact
performance (similar issues have affected trace files ) but I haven't seen
any, and given you'd be using this to look at badly performing SQL in the
first place I'd say use on your problems until you encounter an actual
issue. RTSM is, frankly, worth the extra cost for the pack on its own.
