Re: pa-risc to itanium migration

I've encountered a situation a while ago where the oracle home had been
copied onto the new HPUX systems of some client.
As you've guessed by now, the platforms where pa-risc and itanium, thus not
the same.

Remarkably, upon using the pa-risc executables on itanium this didn't result
in an error stating the processor architecture, but in partly working
executables, which threw some vague errors.
Just my two cent in order someone encounters this situation...
