output from SQL scripts

Is there a command or something in OEM 12c for PL/SQL program output.  I create 
a PL/SQL script and submit it to a target to run.  It says that it ran, but 
there is no output.  I have tried dbms_ouput.put_line and that does not seem to 
work.
