migrating versoin with RMAN

I'm sorry, but I can't find the email and response someone sent me a
link about using RMAN to migrate between versions of oracle. The e-mail
had a link to someones website or such where they had good working
papers on the process.
If I can be more vague, let me know. Appreciate any help. The e-mail
sent on this forum would have been about March 4th, subject "RMAN and
Version Migration".
