jfs2 file systems on aix

We have converted about 50% of our oracle database file systems from jfs to jfs2 without any problem. The last one we did caused a slowdown in batch processing by about 30%. Has anyone seen this before? We are running aix 5.3/oracle ee 10.2.0.3.
