I'd go for custom database with all the features. If you don't use a particular feature then it will just take a little space... and trust me... the space problems will be with essbase and not Oracle. Just keep in mind that Oracle has no data for Hyperion, just metadata so it should be a rather small db. Oh, and one thing, good luck configuring essbase backups ;-) hth Alan Bort Oracle Certified Professional On Fri, Feb 27, 2009 at 5:29 PM, dba1 mcc <mccdba1@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > our company plan to use Hyperion product (version 9.3) and I need create > ORACLE database before consult arrive. > > I checked Hyperion site and did not find any document say how to create DB or > any create DB scripts. > > Does anyone have experience create ORACLE database for Hyperion to use? > > Thanks. > > > > -- > //www.freelists.org/webpage/oracle-l > > > -- //www.freelists.org/webpage/oracle-l
