Folks

On a Banking Product Benchmark of OLTP Transactions, How is the Wait Event
"enq: HW - contention" to be approached?

Should the contentious Objects (Tables/Indexes) be identified & RE-partitioned
OR RE-Organized(Export, Drop, RE-Create, Import back) ?

Oracle 10gR2 (NON-RAC)
HP-UX 11.23

Will provide AWR as needed

Cheers & Thanks V much

Vivek
