Can anybody tell me what type of lock dbms_logstdby.instantiate_table
creates on the primary database table, or point me to documentation that
does? I have a large table (~3.2 million rows) that I need to
reinstantiate, but the primary database is part of a production system and I
want to impact it as little as possible. Any other thoughts or gotchas I
should look for?

Environment:
Oracle 10.2.0.3 EE
Windows 2003
