I would start with mapping the actual data types and lengths you have used in Oracle to postgresql to be certain that a lossless conversion is possible. If non-trivial conversions exist, then at least you can get that analysis work kicked off while you consider the best way to move the stuff that has a trivial mapping. mwf -----Original Message----- From: oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jose Soares Sent: Friday, March 15, 2013 6:54 AM To: oracle-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: db dump Hi all, I need to dump an oracle database to convert it to postgresql which is the easiest way to do that? thanks j -- //www.freelists.org/webpage/oracle-l -- //www.freelists.org/webpage/oracle-l
