Hey Thomas....

The issue with compress is that it requires you buy a separate license.

I must have missed a posting, does this mean that you have found a way
to compress "on the fly" down a pipe then? I only recall posters saying
that it can't be done and if you use the option to replace the dump
files, you get an error on pipes.

Have I missed something then?
