Hello

I have Oracle database version 9.2.0.7 which is working on HP-UX
(Itanium). Recently the corrupted block occurs. This problem appears
random at various time. Below I show dump block:

Corrupt block relative dba: 0x01800002 (file 6, block 2)
Bad header found during buffer read
Data in bad block -
type: 49 format: 6 rdba: 0x363a3530
last change scn: 0x205b.2e393837 seq: 0x38 flg: 0x39
consistency value in tail: 0x7db61d02
check value in block header: 0x3532, block checksum disabled
spare1: 0x3a, spare2: 0x33, spare3: 0x5d20

In 2nd block any segment doesn't exist, because this is header
datafile. I made few correction plans but this is not the correct way
–because corrupt block still occurres. When corrupted block appeared
for the firs time I moved database to the other server. Next I
recovered block. When corrupted block appeared again I set to true:

DB_BLOCK_CHECKING
DB_BLOCK_CHECKSUM
_db_block_cache_protect

This parameter recommended me Oracle support. I also renamed datafile
and changed maxsize, but corrupted block appeared again. Maybe you
have other idea why corrupted block occurs. I intend to export and
import database but do not know if this step resolves my problem. If
you have other idea I will be grateful.

Thanks
Wojtek
