Unfortunately it is not an option for us to install sqlplus on the server in
question.
This problem began before I installed the logon trigger. I'd expected that,
because the listener indicated connectivity was established, that there was
some permissions issue once the user logged on, so I put a logon trigger on.
The trigger just sets tracing on in the session and set events 10046.
