Hi, Yes, I had tried that... I tried also truss -o toto.log $ORACLE_HOME/bin/sqlplus but same problem... When I 'file' it, it's the same in both cases: */u01/oracle/ora92/bin/sqlplus: ELF 64-bit MSB executable SPARCV9 Version 1, dynamically linked, not stripped* I am waiting a feedback from the unix guy in the team...but any other ideas are welcome.
