Try using a different X server. Cygwin has worked for me in the past. Or get a linux box to run it from. Ask your OPS folks real nice, and they might give you a PC to run linux on. This has happened to me before with the installer and I have had to go to the computer room to run it at the console. Anyone know how to remedy this? (db server is Tru64 5.1a) Thanks, Catherine LeBlanc Database Administrator ILS, Administrative Computing Services [1]Bates College Lewiston, ME cleblan2@xxxxxxxxx (207)786-6431 --- Links --- 1 http://abacus.bates.edu/ils/offices/acs/ ---------------------------------------------------------------- Please see the official ORACLE-L FAQ: http://www.orafaq.com ---------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe send email to: oracle-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx put 'unsubscribe' in the subject line. -- Archives are at //www.freelists.org/archives/oracle-l/ FAQ is at //www.freelists.org/help/fom-serve/cache/1.html ----------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------- Please see the official ORACLE-L FAQ: http://www.orafaq.com ---------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe send email to: oracle-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx put 'unsubscribe' in the subject line. -- Archives are at //www.freelists.org/archives/oracle-l/ FAQ is at //www.freelists.org/help/fom-serve/cache/1.html -----------------------------------------------------------------
