I have noticed that unix tools like 'powerbroker' aka sudo type tools, can
force a disconnect.  But those are respectful of nohup sessions and don't
disconnect them when configured properly. Try with unix and network. Do you
see waht kind of disconnect you see? server process goes away? any trace
files?
