Root.sh failign while adding nodeapps and vips in 11.2.0.2

Hi All,
I am installing 11.2.0.2 grid infrastrcuture on three node rhel 5 machines
(x86_64). Root.sh is failing while adding nodeapps and vips. rootcrs logfile
clearly showing that rootcrs.pl is not parsing netmask of public interface
as it is leaving it blank hence rootcrs.pl is failing.
I could not find any known bug or workaround to resolve this.
Any pointer to resolve this would be highly appreciated.
