The O/S is Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 running Oracle 11.2.0.4 with Grid
11.2.0.4 and ASM.
The only notes I've found so far on the oracle support website indicate how to
add/remove a node from the cluster. I've also found one note on O/S upgrades
(1559762.1) but the nodes boot from the SAN, and Grid has just recently been
upgraded, so the Alternative method listed in that note does not apply.
I have not yet opened a ticket with Oracle Support.

Can you be specific about the OS feature in question, and maybe the OS
andRDBMS/clusterware versions too?
Assuming that Oracle Support has instructed you onto this route, is
thatcorrect? If so, have they cited any MOS notes or documentation?
