And, (unless Brandon and I are misunderstanding), if changing the directory
structure is the issue, when doing the duplicate as below, use the
parameter:
db_file_name_convert

I would point you to the OTN doc that shows using this parameter for
duplicates, but OTN seems to be down at the moment (or at least it is for
me)..Nonetheless, Google should point you in the right direction if you have
questions about it.
