I am sure they do not as our reduncancy policy is three days.   Do you
mean to crosscheck/catalog on the production server -- implying that I
need a copy of the 2/26/10 backup there as well?

What error are you getting?

Do the required backups show up as AVAILABLE after you crosscheck them
in your rman repository?  If not, then yes, you may need to CATALOG them
first, otherwise RMAN can't use them.
