A suggestion for youse guys at O'Reilly:

Given the rate at which Oracle keeps cramming in new stuff, I wonder if
it would be practical to publish supplements for some books. For
example, the Oracle Built-in Packages book was already behind when it
hit the shelves. A Built-in Packages Supplement covering new stuff in 9
would be nice; then another one covering new stuff in 10. And each
supplement has a complete index for the series.

I can see that the disadvantage is that it would require somebody with
none of the books to buy the original "baseline" book plus the
supplements to get full coverage, and they might not like that. But I
would certainly appreciate a Built-in Packages supplement.
