?

About 1.8 million log files in $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/audit

Hi Listers,

We recently upgraded from 10.1.0.5 to 11.1.0.7 on HP-UX 11.31. We now have
about 1.8 million log files generated in $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/audit that
have stuff like this in them:

Audit file /d20/oracle/product/mbasdb/11.1.0/rdbms/audit/mbas_ora_20316_14.aud

Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.1.0.7.0 - 64bit Production

With the Partitioning, OLAP, Data Mining and Real Application Testing options

ORACLE_HOME = /d20/oracle/product/mbasdb/11.1.0

System name: HP-UX

Node name: mihp2

Release: B.11.31

Version: U

Machine: ia64

Instance name: mbas

Redo thread mounted by this instance: 1

Oracle process number: 369

Unix process pid: 20316, image: oracle@mihp2

LENGTH: "184"

SESSIONID:[9] "101968946" ENTRYID:[1] "1" ACTION:[3]

GOFF$PREAD:[1] "0" LOGOFF$LREAD:[3] "388" LOGOFF$LWRITE:[1]

Any idea how to control this?

Allan
