Does this apply only if you add a datafile or tablespace as given in the
example? Or would it also show up if you've added a tablespace/datafile to
the primary outside of a duplicate.

For example:
Lets say DBA(x) adds a datafile to production DB thru the normal course of
a day.

DBA(y) is requested to create a test database (duplicate) the next day.
 Using the backup prior to the datafile add, he sets the UNTIL_TIME to
sometime after the datafile add and runs the duplicate.

Will DBA(y) run into this issue in this scenario? The reason I ask is that
the example shows adding a tablespace as part of the RMAN duplicate it
seems (which I didn't know you could do):

2. A datafile is added to the source database, or new tablespace is created
    create tablespace TC;
    sql 'alter system switch logfile'
