The LDS Church is looking for DBA's. You do have to be a Church member in
good standing. A lot of kind people write me, concerned I may be breaking
the law by saying you have to be a Church member. It's legal I promise! :-)

This makes level 0 backup the first time you execute it,
then subsequent runs will do a level 1,
and will recover the incremental backups of SYSDATE – 1

run {
RECOVER COPY OF DATABASE WITH TAG ‘IMG_COPY’ UNTIL TIME ‘SYSDATE – 1’;

BACKUP INCREMENTAL LEVEL 1 FOR RECOVER OF COPY WITH TAG ‘IMG_COPY’ DATABASE
PLUS ARCHIVELOG DELETE INPUT;
}

Then in case of emergency, you could...
SWITCH DATABASE TO COPY;

You could go to this blog for details..

Alejandro Vargas also has the RMAN hands on document on his blog..

All,
        I'm having one heck of a brain dropout recently. I know that there is
a way to take a full backup on say Sunday and then incrementals throughout the
week and apply those to the original full backup, I just can't find it in the
manuals. Could someone please dump me a pointer??
