If she or he accidentally kills the wrong session, the database could
end up needing recovery.  Been there, done that.  A procedure is easy
enough to give to the developers.  If you want to see my proc, let me
know.  

I justify all my decisions regarding admin privs with "whose job is it
to recover?"  Yes, it's mine.  Therefore I own it, no buts.

in development? that is silly. there is no reason why a developer
shouldnt be able to kill his own session.
