Why wouldn’t you just perform a delete node of the old hardware and an add node
of the new hardware instead of trying to perform manual operations for the
process?

Subject: RAC issue moving server
All,
for hardware issue in one of the node in a 3 node cluster we have to bring a
new server to replace it . can we move the rac home filesystem to this new node
and build the new server with the old server name .
