I don't have enough time to write a detailed process, but you're
already in the right neighborhood. The oifcfg utility has another
argument (setif) that can be used to change the interface
configuration. You'll find some notes on using oifcfg in the
documentation, so I suggest you start there.

I have 11g RAC setup on Oracle Linux.
When I booted up the servers, node one has:
1. eth0 as a clustering_Interconnect (192.168.1.x)
2. eth1 as Global Public (137.78.225.x)
However, node two has the opposite:
1. eth0 as Global Public (137.78.225.x)
2. eth1 as clustering_interconnect (192.168.1.x)
I used this command to display the information from the OCR file:
>oifcfg
getif
eth0 192.168.1.0 global cluster_interconnect
eth1 137.78.225.0 global public
The question is, is there a way to change the assignment of these
network interfaces of one server to match the other server?
Please outline the procedure in details or point me to a document on
how this is done.
Thanks.
