Thanks Dan - you always come through for me !!

Have you actually done a RAC using Standard Edition ? The reason I am
in this mess is that we have historically only done installs for
Enterprise Edition, but somebody slipped in a install for Standard
Edition which is not certified in my company. Nobody caught it, and the
install was done with EE. We now have to go back and redo this install
due to licensing restrictions and I am trying to figure out the easiest

There isn't separate media these days--just choose the proper radio
button (Std Ed) when you do the install. Nothing else should be
different at all.

I have a need to install a RAC with ASM using Oracle 10g Standard
Edition, RH Linux 64 bit (not sure if RH 4 or RH 5) , which I have never
done before. However, I have done many similar RAC clusters using
Enterprise Edition. Is there anything different in the install process
for Standard Edition compared to Enterprise Edition, other than using
the correct media ?
