Thanks Suya.

The reason was that I found that there was some issue reported where all
connection from Application hanging and I checked the System is not having any
resource contention. When I tried to check the Crs with crsctl check crs. It is
not able to communicated and hang and even crs_stat gsave error on one Cluster
no communication with CRSD

Also someone reported that there was same kind of Application hanging issue on
other RAC environment earlier using same Private Network vlan.

Also it was reported that ping from App server to Db nodes were very high in
80ms or so. It resolved after few hours automatcially and ping came to almost

I am also bad in Network topology and so want to have expert opinion before
giving some suggestion to the Network team

Hi ,

in our test environment, we have only one switch which will be used to provide
interconnect and storage network. what we did is to divide them into different
VLANs so that they cannot impact each other. this is quite a simple operation
the switch.

that's the also recommended configuration I think. However, I'm not a network
expert, just my personal view.
