BBO needs the same data as CBO plus Heineken, thats why it's called Beer
Based Optimizer.
So, lemme know the table structure, indexes, constraints (PK, UK), data
distribution, cardinality.
Also helpful would be version of the database, a copy of init.ora
parameters, the values in
SYS.AUX_STATS$, sort_area_size, hash_area_size, platform, OS, version,
hardware
and, do not forget this, a six pack of imported Heineken. BBO will then
be able to crunch
the best plan, if in the mood.
