Interesting... I already got the welcome letter that tells me I have access, 
but I will try again in a day or two and see what happens.  Stay tuned! :)

The last time I had Metalink access was before MOS existed, so I have been 
reading the rants about it here but have never experienced it myself.  This is 
quite an introduction!  I particularly like how the two versions of the site 
have differently worded error messages for the same situation...
