1 of the cheapest ways I know of (I'm currently playing around with
this).

2 Surplus PCs ($75 each)
2 Used NICs ($1 each)
2 Firewire Cards ($12 each)
1 Firewire drive ($90)
Misc $20

RAC at home, priceless...
