Package Creation Failing with PLS 201 Error .. Basic Qs

Attempting to Create an Application specific Package / Package Body
giving the following Error :-
SQL> @pack_generic_update.sql
Creating PACKAGE GENERIC_UPDATE
Package created.
Warning: Package Body created with compilation errors.
SQL> show error

SQL> 674

SQL> 1029

SQL> !oerr pls 201

NOTE - following 2 SQLs have already been from ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin
Dir run as sysdba in the same Order:-
dbmslock.sql, prvtlock.plb , but the Error continues to occur.
Will share the package source as needed
