Re: Oracle service starts but the instance does not

Came across similar issue in the past. To start instance along with
 windows service, I had to change value for the registry parameter
ORA_<SID>_AUTOSTART to TRUE.



Path – hkey local machine > software > oracle > key_oracle_home
