Folks,
I need some input related to some Linux settings for Oracle. The Linux distro
is Red Hat 6.5. I have the following questions:

· I/O scheduler – The default scheduler is Completely Fair Queuing
(CFQ). However, it seems that for the Oracle Unbreakable Linux kernel, the
DEADLINE I/O scheduler is the default. For Red Hat, what do people normally set
it to for highly IO intensive ERP systems?

· Mount point options – Are there any recommendations for the mount
points related settings for the FC storage? (noatime, nodiratime,
max_batch_time=0, nobarrier)

· Any other I/O related setting(s) that one should look into changing
from the default value?

Any feedback will be appreciated.

Tanks,
Amir
