Don’t believe all the stuff you might read from ‘anon’ on ‘the net.’
I’m NOT an Oracle instructor, and I’m definitely NOT telling you to use MySQL
instead.

Subject: Oracle XE 12c ?
I read a bit on the 'net, one "anonymous" user says an Oracle instructor
mentioned there won't be a 12c version of OracleXE, that people should use
MySQL instead
Is that true?
Given the version numbers come and go, we would rather install a 12c version
of XE than 11g and have to upgrade it again in a few months when a 12c XE
version is released. If one is ever released.
