Hi Laura, Always check w/ your Oracle sales rep or Oracle's software investment guide for the best information. Having said that, if you *only* want to use OID (Oracle Internet Directory, Oracle's LDAP server) for service name resolution, then it's free. If you want to do anything else with it, then you need to license it separately. I believe that's correct, but, as I said, check w/ Oracle to be certain. -Mark ________________________________________ From: oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of laura pena [lizzpenaorclgrp@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, September 22, 2009 22:10 To: oracle-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Oracle LDAP product -- included in Oracle Enterprise Edition ? Quick question does anyone know if the Oracle LDAP product is included in the Oracle Enterprise Edition suite or if it is an extra purchase?
