Oracle Database Resource Manager

I've been thinking about implementing this for some of our resource
intensive databases.
One of our DBAs came back from a class where the instructor said DRM was
very resource intensive itself.
I'm not talking about complex implementations.
Can I get some feedback one way or the other?
