Hi Mark,
yes, you are right in case of "Elapsed Time" and "DB CPU", but i am talking 
about "background elapsed time" and "background CPU time" in the "Time
Model Statistics".

I already explained this in more detail in my previous reply to Phil:

AWR Elapsed Time ≈ 3600 seconds
Amount of CPUs = 160
background cpu time ≈ 47342 seconds
background elapsed time ≈ 33676 seconds

If your theory for "background elapsed time" would be true as well, the max 
background elapsed time would also be round about 3600 seconds, but in my
case it is 33676 seconds. The definition for "background elapsed time" and 
"background CPU time" is different as the documentation states as well.
