Oracle 8i Dataguard

Does someone have experience with DataGuard running on any Linux (Redhat =
6.2 in our case) and Oracle 8i
All I found so far is=20
Oracle8i Data Guard for Sun Solaris, HP-UX and AIX
It seems to me that the only option is Oracle parallel server or script =
standby database. Am I correct?
