Thanks for the verification - that information is indeed buried in the latest rev of the Admin manual.

That said, it would be nice for Oracle to adopt a method to consistently turn off options so they can not be inadvertently turned on.

Something like "OPTION_{optionName} = 'ON | OFF | DISABLED | ALWAYS DISABLED' "
