We actually had the same fight with 11.2.0.2… it took several tries to get our first environment upgraded from 11.2.0.1 because WMI seems to gets its hooks too far into the Oracle homes. So not necessarily a new problem, but interesting to know that Oracle has finally gotten around to acknowledging it.
