RE: Opatch error

These types of errors are usually related to a version of OPatch that is
too low for the inventory (see Metalink note 1119465.1).

First thing I would try is to install the latest OPatch for 10.2 in the

Oracle Enterprise Manager (Grid Control)


Has anyone run into this error?  The ORACLE_HOME environment variable
was set to the OMS_HOME.  The PATH was updated so that $OMS_HOME/OPatch
was the first directory.  The statement was executed from
$OMS_HOME/OPatch directory.  I have successfully detached and
re-attached this Oracle Home using the scripts in $ORACLE_HOME/oui/bin,
but this error persists.


[oracle@mwdzui1 OPatch]$ ./opatch lsinventory
