Somehow, I don't think that Mr. Nobel has envisioned computer science when he
established
hist trust fund. May be, another benefactor will establish trust fund for the
computer
science, so Kernighan, Ritchie and Thompson will one day win Gates award for the
advances in the field of the computer science. I'm not sure that they'd accept
that
particular one. Do you know why there is no Nobel prize for mathematics? Mr.
Nobel
has had a young wife, who was infatuated by count Mittag-Loeffler, Swedish
mathematician,
famous for his theorems about the analytic functions.
