1- I remember seeing a message similar to this
2- I am unfamiliar with TG4DRDA but the 00942 would imply that the Oracle ID
in question is missing a grant on or synonym to a referenced non-owned
table.

Subject: ORA TG4DRDA ISSUES

Hi Listers,
I posted this yesterday but didn't see it on the list
so here we go again.

I am trying to configure TG4DRDA to connect to
AS400/DB2 system. I am installing the TG on win2k.
When I am trying to bind the package (which is the
last step in configuring) I am getting the follwoing
error message.

**************** START ERROR ************************

QL> exec GTW$_BIND_PKG@ibmdb;
BEGIN GTW$_BIND_PKG@ibmdb; END;
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
TG4DRDA v9.2.0.4.0 grc=0, drc=-942 (839C,0000),
errp=QSQSCPKGn?oo
sqlcode=-204, sqlstate=42704, errd=F3F4F0F1,0,0,0,0,0
errmc=QSYS.ORACLEyCOLLECTION
ORA-06512: at line 1

*************** END ERROR ***************************

I don't know a whole lot about AS400/db2 so I can not
check the privileges of userid set up there. The guy
helping me is ..er....shall we say not the sharpest
tool. Anyways...my question is

--> Did anyone here tried to do the same and could
help me out.

--> Is there any good DB2 forum I can post the
questions in.

Thanks a lot ( Sleeplessness is a terrible thing..! )

Cheers,
RS
